Description
In this new series of works, Alejandra Barreda proposes a journey where the senses expand. As if he were a composer, he paints flat sequences of colors that alternate through rhythms, intervals and silences. They resonate at times like arias and at others like subtly perceptible vibrations.
Sound, rhythm, structure and resonance that renew the theories of the pioneers of the avant-garde about color in movement.

More Information
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1958. She graduated from the “Prilidiano Pueyrredón” National School of Fine Arts in 1981, as a National Professor of Painting. Graduate in Visual Arts at UNA, 2013.
Artist residencies: Château Blacons, Mirabel et Blacons, France (2007); Gingko Site, Troyes, France (2005).
Work in collections: Museum of Contemporary Art of Buenos Aires, Sayago & Pardon Collection (USA), Areatec Buenos Aires, private collections in France, Peru and Argentina.
