Mónica Sartori

Mónica Sartori was born in 1967 in Rome, Italy and two years later she settled permanently in Argentina with her family, where she currently lives and works. She graduated from ENBAPP – Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts – as a Professor of Drawing and Sculpture. She complements her academic and technical training by attending welding, sculptural pottery and live model drawing workshops. In Claudia Aranovich’s workshop she trains in sculptural techniques with non-traditional materials and with Antonio Pujía she holds the wax seminar. In 2020, she carried out an artistic consultancy with Alicia Candeani at the ACE Foundation. Since 2010 she has run her own workshop and teaching space for sculpture and drawing, in the northern area of ​​Greater Buenos Aires. In 2017, she actively participated in the creation and development of activities of the Tigre Artists Association, of which she has been president since 2019. She held national and international individual and group exhibitions and was honored and selected for numerous awards and salons.
