Belén López de Carlo

Belén López de Carlo was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1991, where she currently lives and works. She has a degree in Visual Arts from the University of the Argentine Social Museum (Buenos Aires). Among her latest distinctions, the Special Mention of the MACSur Prize for Visual Arts (Buenos Aires, 2023) and her selection for the Bancor Painting Prize (Córdoba, 2023). Her solo exhibitions include Una promesa incumplida with a text by the argentinian artist Nahuel Vecino (Praxis, Buenos Aires, 2024). She participated in the group exhibitions Misshapes (Praxis, New York, 2024), Atravesar el espejo (Praxis, Buenos Aires, 2023), Lo que importa es la piel curated by Vic Tolomei (Praxis, Buenos Aires, 2022), among others.
