Delfina Braun

Delfina Braun was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After obtaining a degree in Psychology, she specialized in Carl Jung’s approach. She trained in Fine Arts at IUNA, The New York Academy of Arts, Silvermine Arts School, and in the studio of the Argentine artist, Juan Becu, specializing in charcoal, colored pencil drawing, and bronze casting.

Her artwork is intimately connected to her curiosity and exploration around the nature of the human mind and soul, and the study of esoteric disciplines as a path to self knowledge and universal consciousness. During the past decade, she has explored the biological scope of the natural world, focusing her study in herbology, medicinal plants and fungi.

In 2011, she created KABINETT, the first concept store in Argentina, showcasing collaborative projects with various latin american artists such as renowned pop artist, Marta Minujin. She participated in KOLAPSE, a global initiative to rethink our world and will be part of the next edition. Since 2018, Delfina has offered Tarot readings in various NYC locations, and in the Katonah Kundalini Center. She was selected to be part of the “In Sight” exhibition in the Olsen Gruin gallery, curated by Emerald Fitzgerald, along with renowned artists such as Laura Jones and Leyla Jeffreys, among others. This marked the beginning of her journey into environmental awareness and has influenced her artistic vision ever since.

She is currently illustrating the book, “The Oracle of The Hero’s Journey” by Graciela Caprarulo for the publishing house El Hilo de Ariadna. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and art spaces in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Copenhagen, Miami, New York and Silvermine and has been acquired by collectors in New York, Copenhagen, Italy, Brasil, and Buenos Aires. She currently lives and works in upstate New York.
