Praxis International Art, together with MFA Now Executive Director, Adam Rogers and MFA Now Project Advisor, Judy Chicago, cordially invite you to Identity, Self II, an exhibition celebrating the awardees of the 2008 MFA Now International Painting Competition.
This exhibition includes the work of emerging artists from Austria, Ireland, Israel, Germany, Korea, Chile and Switzerland.

Based in New York, MFA Now is a new international arts organization sponsoring arts related events for graduate students enrolled in fine arts programs in North America, Europe, and Asia. This year’s competition, focusing on painting, culminates with a three city exhibition: New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.

The New York exhibition is being hosted by Praxis International Art. Founded in Buenos Aires in 1977, Praxis seeks to bring the imminent creativity of contemporary Latin American art to a world audience. With a broad program, Praxis has excelled at pioneering new venues and exhibitions in the United States and South America. Today, it plays a vital role as a nexus between artists, collectors, and art critics throughout the world, and is an important reference point within the Latin American cultural sphere. Praxis is pleased to support MFA Now in recognizing the talents of emerging artists.

This exhibition is in cooperation with MFA Now, the artists exhibited are not represented by Praxis International Art.
